The Isla Grande Flying School Maintenance crew recently assembled two (2) aircraft manufactured by TECNAM of Italy destined to the Dominican Republic.  The first one to depart on 18 Apr 2009 was I-9667, is a Sierra model which is certified as a light sport aircraft.  The second one departed on 25 Apr 2009 was I-093 which  is a P 2002 JR Model, is equipped with retractable landing gear and variable pitch propeller and is classified as a complex aircraft.  These are the number 5 and 6 of this manufacturer’s aircraft assembled by our crew.  The first unit assembled has already accumulated over 3,000 trouble free hours.
